Welcome to Southern Streams I am owner and guide Brett D. Haynes. I guide on some of Southern  Missouri and  Nothern Arkansas best  Trout waters for   Fly fishing In the Country. I have been fly fishing for 23 yrs. my passion for fly fishing is unmatched. I have guided these waters and may more for over a 1,000 days in Missouri and Arkansas. I specialize in   flyfishing for  Rainbow   Trout and Brown  Trout, but I can put you on some of the best rivers for Smallmouth Bass too. I enjoy guiding for all levels of experience from your first trout to the big trout you have always dream of.
I have no time limit to my trips but like to start around 9am. I can customize your trip to fit your interest and style too. Lunch is provided for all day  trips and will be discussed upon booking.
 The Niangua River is one the most beautiful back-country, spring fed rivers in Missouri. We will be the only ones on the river for miles or even all day.  It can be so clear that you can see the fish take your fly from 10ft away or watch the trout rise to take your fly.
I also guide on two of the world record rivers in Arkansas. the White and the Little Red Rivers too. We can throught big streamers all day for some of or the bigest Browns in the country.
I guide from a Mc Kenzie style boat with oars so most lakes are hard for my to guide on. It is for the little shallow, tight rivers. 
 I can also guide you along the Niangua River near Bennett Springs to help you with you casting if you need to improve on your skills or distance.
